Hi, I’m Lyra Crosswell, and I founded this coloring book store with a simple belief: coloring isn’t just for kids. It can be a powerful tool for grown-ups to relax, relieve stress, and tap into their creativity. My journey began when I realized that coloring could offer so much more than just a hobby—it could be a form of mindfulness and art therapy for adults.
As an illustrator, I’ve always had a love for creating intricate designs, but it wasn’t until I went through a particularly stressful time in my life that I truly understood the calming power of coloring. I sat down with some of my own designs and a set of colored pencils, and as I filled in the lines, I felt the stress melt away. That’s when it hit me: I wanted to share this experience with others.
In 2019, I launched Lyra Crosswell’s Coloring Book Store, a place where adults could find beautifully detailed illustrations that not only challenge their creativity but also help them slow down and unwind. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m thrilled that so many of you have joined me in discovering the joy and peace that comes from coloring.

All our printable PDF books support both markers and pencils, so it's up to you! For the Paperback versions, colored pencils are preferable.
Most of our coloring books feature highly detailed illustrations that you can spend hours working on. So they're better suited to a teen/adult audience than to very young children.
